Taro is a daughter of Jingle Bell and Thor, born 10/11/2020

Taro is a stunning 5-year-old female British Shorthair who, through no fault of her own, is looking for a new family. Her current owner has developed a severe allergy, and with heavy heart, has made the difficult decision to rehome her.

Taro is deeply people-oriented — she thrives on human connection. She loves nothing more than playing with her humans, curling up on your lap, or snoozing peacefully beside you. She’s also remarkably intelligent and emotionally intuitive — she can pick up on your tone and mood, and responds with gentle affection and quiet understanding.

While Taro can sometimes feel nervous or a little feisty around other cats, she gets along wonderfully with dogs. If you already have feline companions and are still interested in adopting her, we’re happy to discuss further to ensure the best match for everyone involved.

As a classic British Shorthair, Taro is in excellent health, with all vaccinations up to date and a healthy, solid build. She’s ready to bring joy, warmth, and a little bit of her trademark British sass into her new home.

🌿 Adoption Requirements

To make sure Taro finds the perfect forever family, we kindly ask that:

• You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

• You are a genuine cat lover ready to give her plenty of love and attention.

• Ideally, your home has no other cats (this can be discussed).

• You are Sydney-based, as we’d love to visit Taro after 3 months of adoption, and once a year thereafter, to ensure she’s happy and settled.
